Exact match domains: white hat is now black hat?

White hat SEORemember when we could buy domains with great key words and point them toward our “real” domain?

It looked like this: tuttifruiti.com represents the business name. Tutti Fruiti sells ice cream. So, why not make a second domain name (e.g., best-ice-cream-in-toledo.com) and redirect it to your “real” web site?

Perfectly legal, according to Google, for many years.

When to cut bait with a client

The other day I received two emails from my web host, InMotion Hosting, where I maintain an agency account only for clients. In other words, I lease a server, which saves my clients money and lets me use tools I am familiar with (as opposed to dealing with a variety of hosts and their varying CPanel configurations and levels of support.
